To all the girls out there who do not have a fella: I'm with you. I don't have time for their immature ways, and the only man that is truly my number one is Jesus. One of my favorite songs right now is A Heart Like Mine by Miranda Lambert. A few lyrics from her song are: "cause I hear Jesus, he drank wine and I bet we'd get along just fine. He can calm a storm and heal the blind. And I bet He'd understand a heart like mine." This song means so much to me because in my opinion we don't have to try and be perfect because we would die trying. Just live your life to the fullest and praise Him for everything.

Today, was quite the day! First off, my mother (Lori) prepared a wonderful breakfast. And in the middle of talking about our hunting expeditions, my dad decides to be really funny, and throws his eggs at me! Then went the fruit, and before we knew it the juice went flying. This is why, in the Brandenburg house, we do not wear white! FOOD FIGHTS on a Sunday morning! Yummy!

Praying for Japan!

bullying

At many schools, kids get picked on. Many turn their heads and pretend to care, because they were that kid getting picked on, or being the bully. Does it really improve your manhood to hurt someone else? Well, at Longmont Christian, kids are bullied are tourmented for doing things they love. Like me and hunting. Happy 50th MAMA!

I'm going to Kauai for my mama's birthday!!! Aaaah, and no, I'm not going on a hunting trip, but an actual vacation! Happy birthday again to my beautiful mother! I love you :)

salt and vinegar chips!

I've decided salt and vinegar chips are the abdolute best thing on the planet. I know I'm supposed to be getting in hunting shape, but those are my weakness. They are heavenly!!

why do women have to be compared to supermodel material?

To all the men out there: Why do you hold women to such high standards which are literally impossible to meet. If our hair isn't done, our make up isn't on, our teeth are not perfectly white, our skin bronzed, and our nails painted we look like crap? Well, the truth is no woman actually looks 'supermodel material"' There are lots of hours just put into doing her face and her hair, then they just go back and airbrush the picture after all of that work? The truth is, we are all beautiful, but we must believe that and follow it. Work on your inner beauty and then your outer beauty will follow. Keep smiling and believing in yourself.

I'm thinking about chopping off my hair to my sholders. What do you think? Yes, or no? Long hair or short? Hmmmm.

New Hunting BOOTS!

I think my most favorite gift, besides a gun would have to be new hiking-hunting boots! Whooo! I am going to be flying up those mountains now!

Mascara + Driving = not a good combination

Today, I was really, really late to school so I decided to do my make up (which I never wear) in the car. But because I was trying to be responsibe I didn't apply my eyelashes while I was driving, I did it at stop lights! Well, when the lady right next to me looked at me, I turned my head, jabbing the brush in my eye, then my eye started watering and I could barely see! This is why I never wear make up!

conventions

Hunting conventions is a time when people can get together, spend quality time together, share hunting adventures, and book hunts! This year, I have attended three conventions, and one hunting dinner. At this hunting dinner, there were several of my hunting heros! There were several women and men who are truly an inspiration to me. But at these hunting conventions, you are able to get one on one contact with outfitters and decide who you want to book with!
